The Kappa Curve, or Gutschoven's curve, was studied by Gérard van Gutschoven around 1662.
This curve is the locus of a point that on an arbitrary line through the origin and such that OP is congruent to CD, which are found on a line parallel to the x-axis and intersected by the line through the origin.
